Around Kula the old lava fields lie black on a pale ground, and that contrast is the whole landscape. The Kula collection is the deep end of the palette: matt charcoal and black surfaces with a fine white vein, warmed with oak, brass and low evening light. A dark kitchen is not cold, it is close.
