Nordic Slat Walnut

The deepest of the three. Walnut veneer runs across the base doors, the island and the tall larder, held in a slim timber frame grid. Above, vertical walnut slats screen the wall units and glow at dusk. The worktop and splashback are a travertine look porcelain surface, warm and matt, over a polished concrete floor.

Each base door is a flat walnut panel in a slim frame. The posts run to the floor, so the run reads as one piece of joinery over a recessed plinth.

Slatted wall doors

Vertical slats with a narrow gap let the shelves and the light behind them show. Linear LED sits above and below.

Solid walnut drawer boxes

Open a drawer and the box is dovetailed walnut with a timber cutlery insert. The inside is finished like the outside.
